There was a soda machine were you could buy water or sodas.There were many bags of bagels but no knives to cut them. There was 3 containers of cereal,one type of milk(not labeled 2%,1% or nonfat).A juice machine with 3 types of juices,hot cocoa machine,hot water but no cold water. The food area was behind the front desk in a very small alcove. The next morning my children and I went downstairs to the complimentary breakfast at 6:30am. The desk chair had some "white spill "down the back of it.I pulled back the cover, blanket and though the sheets were extremely wrinkled they appeared clean but with holes in them. There was a large cigarette burn by one of the beds in the carpet.
The carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed. and it being 10pm, I decided to just use the deadbolt on the door and bring it to the Managers attention in the morning. Upon entering the room #202, I noticed that the security latch was broken in half and hanging from the door frame by the screws.Having had a long travel from PA. I was charge $64.oo per night for 2 double/NS room. Seeing that I used my American Express, I wasn't too concerned about unathorized charges.
Upon arriving at the Hotel the shift supervisor ( only employee present)took my credit card and made a pencil rubbing of the numbers at the bottom of the sign in receipt.
